Project Summary: This project began as a three (3) tank package with all tanks receiving a long list of modifications and welding repairs, as well as a full interior and exterior abrasive blast and recoat including lead abatement on each tank exterior. These tanks are located in the heart of the Whiting Field Naval Air Station Base which required full containment and compact working areas for each tank. During the project, an additional tank developed a leak so our crew was able to clean, repair and touch up the tank while onsite. Each of these tanks received the famous aviation color scheme as well as a fresh take on the classic logos these tanks were known for. This project was completed in Q4 2023 - Q2 2024
