Project Summary:  This was as new build tank constructed by Caldwell Tanks, Inc. in two (2) phases of work. During Phase 1, Caldwell Tanks built the shaft and tank bowl on the ground side by side. Currens came in after welding operations were complete to sand blast and paint the tank's exterior while the bowl was on the ground. The ground phase work speeds up the project as it allows the crew to paint the entire exterior to finish coat including installation of the logos. For Phase 2, Caldwell Tank's erection crews hoisted the tank bowl up and welded it to the tank shaft in its final location. Currens then mobilized back to the site to complete exterior touch ups and paint out the tank's interior.
